Our Story

Prana Pets was started in 2016 by Brad Solomon and Brad Noonan. Prana Pets' products are holistic and focus on restoring balance rather than treating just the symptoms. Solomon and Noonan are certified yoga instructors, pet owners, and both actively support several cruelty-free charities, in addition to working in internet advertising and product IT, respectively. Both share a strong desire to promote the humane treatment of animals.

"We developed Prana Pets to ensure that other pet owners can find the help they need without the have adverse side-effects of traditional medicine. We believe in a more natural and healthier way to treat common pet issues" - Noonan.

“Prana Pets has created a tincture that can help level both increased and decreased adrenal functions.
Raised adrenal, and lower adrenal function can be confusing for the pet owner, and concerning for pet and owner.
I absolutely support this herbal remedy.” - Andrew Turkell, DVM, CVA, CCRT, CHT-V

Dr. Andrew Turkell

After graduating from Araneta University in the Philippines in 1979, Dr. Andrew Turkell chose South Florida as the place where he wanted to live and practice. He acquired Lake Worth Animal Hospital in 1980, where he practiced for over 20 years. Realizing the need for high quality/high touch veterinary medicine in other locales, Dr. Turkell opened Boynton Beach Animal Hospital in 1985, followed by Calusa Animal Hospital in Boca Raton in 1990 and Island Animal Hospital in Palm Beach in 1995. In September 2006, Dr. Turkell realized his 25-year dream by opening the Calusa Veterinary Center, a state-of-the-art facility that marks a move and expansion from the former Calusa Animal Hospital, which enjoyed 16 years of continuous growth.
